Market Square Closure and Temporary Dining Transition

Market Square will close for construction on December 12 and will remain closed until Summer 2026. During this time, the King Family Commons Building will transition into a fully operating resident dining hall beginning January 2026.

To support this shift, Caliente, The Press, and O’Brien’s will temporarily close. Magnolias Zero7 will remain open and transition to an all-you-care-to-eat station.

King Family Commons will feature two entrances: one on the west side of the building near Greek Village, and one on the southwest side facing Stadium Drive. Entry will operate on a single meal swipe for all-you-care-to-eat dining, similar to our traditional dining hall experience.

Please note that King Family Commons will run as a cashless payment location.

Chick-fil-A and Starbucks will remain open during the Market Square renovation.
